Production Assembler / Diesel Mechanic- Trussville, AL
1st shift: 6:00am-3:30pm Mon- Fri/ Saturday shifts required as needed
$24.00+ per hour DOE

Trussville area manufacturer is seeking talented Assemblers to join a diverse team to support production and manufacturing.
The Assembler candidates will be responsible for the installation of various parts and/or components onto John Deere
construction and/or agricultural equipment.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities
• Installation of manufactured kits onto new equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures to ensure quality of installation.
• Ability to follow manufacturer procedures for torquing bolts, hydraulic hoses and fittings.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

    Experience:
    • 2+ year production assembly experience, automotive industry experience preferred.
      • Candidates must be able to provide necessary tools to perform the job duties.
      • Candidates should be able to demonstrate ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes
    Required Certifications/Licensing/Education/Training:

    Basic Qualifications
    Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year experience in related field.
    • Candidates must be able to read and interpret written and oral work instructions.
    • Candidates must be able to work independently using basic hand tools and air tools.
    • Candidates must have excellent communication skills.
    • Candidates must be able to work alone or in a team concept in order to complete a project.
    • Candidates must be agile with ability to work in awkward positions such as under machines, in tight areas of
    machines, on top of large machines or while standing on ladders or work platforms.
    • Candidates must have a basic understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems found in heavy
    equipment.
    • Candidates must be able to work a full-time, 5-days per week 9-hours per shift with overtime as needed.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
