CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Operator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Schedule: Day shift: Monday to Friday

Trussville area machine shop is actively seeking an experience CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Operator to join their team. This role will be filled by an experienced candidate that can start immediately and successfully work independently, requiring little instruction or skill training. This position is not entry level and only skilled operators will be considered.

Job Description:

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

  • CNC machinist tight specification, tolerance level tight.
  • Manual Machining (5) yrs Preferred.
  • Mills, Drill Press, Surface grinder, Horizontal Milling Machine .
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in independent operation of CNC Horizontal Machining Centers.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in all aspects of machine tool operation and quality monitoring.
  • Experience in all aspects of machine setup including part location and tool calibration.
  • Knowledge of G-Code editing required.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills.
  • Proven history of work experience and skill knowledge.
  • Verifiable professional references
