Rate is negotiable for Licensed Class B CDL candidates

Bessemer, Alabama area employer is seeking an experienced Warehouse associate with a current CDL/ Class B with Hazmat endorsement to join their team! Qualified candidates will present previous warehouse / production experience and a current Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement. You will be responsible for safe production of client product and warehousing activities. Local Route Driver responsibilities will be added upon completion of probation and training.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Safe material handling and production.
  • Load and unload product, staging correctly in warehouse according to company procedures.
  • Properly track and document activity log.
  • Safely operate delivery vehicles in accordance with federal, state and local DOT regulations
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect motor vehicle equipment before and after trip

    Experience:

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields.
    Commercial driver's license with current DOT endorsements required.
    Ability to handle physical workload
    Clear Background History and MVR
    Pass pre-employment drug screen
    Strong work ethic

    Required Certifications/Licensing/Education/Training:

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
    • Valid /Current Class B CDL license with DOT Physical form and Hazmat endorsement
    • Ability to handle physical workload with ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
    • Clear Background History and MVR
    • Pass pre-employment drug screen
    • Strong work ethic
