- To master and cross-train on all the activities that support operations such as:
- General office duties
- Inspections of equipment including:
- Tractor Trailers
- Containers inside and out

- General Office Duties
- Data Entry:
- Entering in and out gates in the computer
- Adding steamship line agreements in system
- Reporting:
- Maintaining logs of equipment locations and assignments
- Updating the BOL, Scale Reports
- Tracking loads for customers
- Updating the tracking log
- Sending recaps to management
- Turnover to day shift dispatcher on status of team and loads
- Data Entry:
- Other Duties & Capabilities
- Reviewing paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Checking and validating trip sheets
- Printing incoming vessel bills of ladings
- Adding the associated slot numbers
- Exhibiting proficiency at shift start up functions
- Implementing dispatch for drivers
- Closing of shift operations
- Communicating through email and telephone
- Monitoring emails for HOT load requests
- Redirecting team members as needed
- Working with flexible schedule to support operations
- Assigning additional work if drivers have available time
- Equipment Inspections Duties
- Perform equipment inspections and reporting
- Identify defects on chassis and container equipment
- In gate and out gate containers from facility
- Scale Service Parts and CKD loads
Salary/Wage:
Education: High School Graduate / GED
- Life and/or work experience (very desirable) in areas of:
- Chassis, container, and truck knowledge
- Existing certification for inspection of domestic or international chassis containers
- Willingness to participate in internal chassis and container inspection classes held on site
- Recommended to participate in all local logging Chassis Inspector Certificate

- Overall computer literacy
- Typing/Keyboards
- Excel spreadsheets

- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

- Safety Glasses
- Must have:
- Physical strength to open and close container doors
- Ability to reach container doors without accommodations
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
