Position Summary
To master and cross-train on all the activities that support gate inspections for "roadability" inspections.
This critical position acts as the first point of contact into the yard and includes the following responsibilities:
- Strict enforcement of yard and safety rules
- Accuracy with data entry
- Ability to pay close attention to details
Salary/Wage:
Education: High School Graduate / GED
- Life and/or work experience in areas of chassis, container, and truck knowledge (very desirable)
- Existing certification for inspection of domestic or international chassis and containers (very desirable)
- Willingness to participate in internal chassis and container inspection classes held on site
- IICL Chassis Inspector's Certification (recommended)

Essential Functions Statements:
- Perform chassis inspections and reporting
- Identify defects on chassis and container equipment
- Accurately enter gate interchanges into ITOPS at the time of interchange (realtime gate)
- Perform equipment location assignments
- Perform container transfer between modes of transport
- Outgate dispatch of equipment and successful turnover of the dispatch to the assigned final delivery carrier
- Manage and greet all visitors and appointments following our company's security C-TPAT process
- Stop all outbound drivers and have the driver sign off and confirm the parking place he spotted the equipment within the yard
