General responsibilities:

Church Secretary works with the Senior Pastor and Pastoral staff to ensure the successful day-to-day operations of the church, including but not limited to: Scheduling of church events and activities as needed. Creating, publishing and disseminating social media material, weekly church pamphlets, and informational brochures. The Administrator will maintain tithe logs and additional financial information, responsible for weekly accounting of church funds receipts and deposits. Daily scheduling and organization of various activities to support running the church facility and other affiliated programs.

  • Ideal candidate must possess the following:
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling communication with Pastoral staff, church members and general public.
  • Excellent Math skills: (multiply, divide, add, subtract, fractions and decimals).
  • MS Word, MS Outlook & Excel a must.
  • Microsoft Publisher / Power Point a must
  • Strong 10-key/calculator skills & Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on tight schedules and deadlines.
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Dependable, hardworking, Self-Starter and Team Player

 

 

Physical Requirements:.

Able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand and walk regularly in an 8 hour shift
Able to lift 30lbs+ at times

*Qualified Applicants must be 19 years of age or older, have HSD or GED, and must pass background screening and drug testing.

    Experience:
    • 3+ years office administrative experience with bookkeeping knowledge a plus
    • Excellent Math skills: (multiply, divide, add, subtract, fractions and decimals).

    • Strong 10-key/calculator skills & Organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Education:
    HSD/ GED with secondary education preferred
